ABOUT ME

I started my second life as a volunteer dog walker. The most beautiful dogs in the world spend a few days, weeks, months, or even years at the shelter where I volunteer. I walk them, clean up their messes, comfort them when they are scared, and whisper words of hope to them. I have been doing this for years - yet the joy of an adoption and the disappointment of a surrender or return will still occasionally bring me to tears. I am a lucky guy to have found a passion where I can make a difference in the lives of the dogs I love.
My volunteer life expanded from taking a few pictures to becoming a volunteer staff photographer at several shelters. Adoption page photos, special promotions, two books, and several calendars later I now consider myself a dog walker with a camera - a good camera and professional-level photography skills.
I now look towards creating fine-art pet photographs for private individuals in between working with the shelter dogs that need me as much as I need them.
